Beautiful old restaurant. Was noisy inside do we sat outside. Thomas was our server. Was a great guy. Food was excellent. Prepared perfectly. Not inexpensive but well worth the experience and just being there. Felt like we were in Europe

Ambience and service was excellent. We celebrated our anniversary there. Had delicious cocktails at the bar then dinner in the main dining room. Food was very flavorful with nice sized portions. I had rack of lamb, my husband surf and turf. I highly recommend!

It was our first time at this resto and we rhoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and professional. The room and environment was perfect, great old Montreal decor and feel. Most importantly, the food didn't disappoint. We were please with the apps and the meals as well as the wine selection. Definately will retuen.

Excellent meal! We enjoyed every aspect of it. Cocktails were beautifully executed. The Cornish hen cooked to perfection and the sauces had wonderful fresh herb bases that shined. Shrimp toast was a little soggy for me but maybe that is the way it’s made? Radish excellent on it! Highly recommend!

The service at Auberge Saint Gabriel was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and very helpful in providing information on all the dishes. My daughter has food allergies and they helped us navigate through anything that she may have a reaction to. The food was also very, very good and the recommended cocktails were fantastic!

My guest had the Cornish hen which was very overcooked and quite dry. It was inedible. A big disappointment. The accompanying sauce was tasteless - needs seasoning. Fries were delicious. I had the lobster spaghetti which was very delicious and nicely done. Proportions were good. Patio setting made the evening special, re: enjoying the open air.

Atmosphere is good, nice terrace and lounge for drinks. Service is also good but the dinner foods are so-so for the price. I took the entrees grilled salad and beef carpaccio which were delicious. Then, arriving for the main courses , I took the duck and the steak. Steak came with nothing for 39$ so you have to add a salad for 9$. Total bill for a Tuesday night 180$+tax+ 18% tips. Walked accros Steak house beside, it was 59$ for a surlonge steak with lobster tail , fries and salad.

Top experience, top service and food was fantastic, with the restaurant and bar staff absolutely dedicated to great service which exceeded my expectation. All the while trying to balance a packed house over Grand Prix weekend - you couldn't ask for better. Will want to do it all over again many times to come!

We were so thrilled and impressed with our meal and our service. Tomas was our server and he was very kind and very engaging. The chocolate tarte with cacao sorbet was the best chocolate we have ever eaten. This dinner and this place were magical, and made our last night in Montreal truly special. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elegant meal in a beautiful location that you will remember for a lifetime.

It’s my second time dining at the Auberge, and I really love the food, the service and the ambience. Fridays and Saturdays there is a great night club in the basement.
