We had a lovely time, the food was great...We had the Onion Soup, Wild Boar Burger, and Pulled Pork Sandwich. Though the restaurant/atmosphere was very loud, the wait staff were very accommodating and found us a table in the back of the restaurant where is was quieter. The service was friendly and fast. Will go back.

Took family from Toronto to try this brewery/bistro. Just the right fun atmosphere with brews made on the premises. The food was also interesting (and good) served on wood platters. A little different (just what I was looking for) and the food matched the atmosphere perfectly!

Les Soeurs Grises is a classic. I sometimes think maybe I'll try a different place, but always end up coming here. The pull pork sandwich is the best you'll find, their soups are delicious. And I tried their tiramisu dessert this time, which is just amazing.

Definitely a 5@7 type of place after work to have some drinks, definitely loud atmosphere and high volume though which made the dining experience different than what I expected. Overall service very quick and efficient though.

Atmosphere was alright, the service was quick and prompt for a Saturday evening. However I find that the staff's constant proximity slightly displeasing since it felt as if they were rushing us to leave (at some point even assuming we were done and almost taking away our plates). The appetizers were good, the meats were well prepared for the entrees however the side dishes aren't well matched to the meats. The drink sizes were quite generous however, which is a plus. Overall quite average experience.

Understandably this is a brasserie and a very lively place, however the noise level was uncomfortable. That said, this place is amazing. The staff and service are attentive and quick and patient. The food was incredible. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We will definitely return.

It was a great lunch between coworkers. We all had the smoked wild boar and blueberry burger. It is a must. The chef also came out to greet us.

We were looking forward to our dinner. Unfortunately, as it was our first trip to Montreal and we expected to dine as a family with teens, we were unaware of the differences in licensing requirements between bars and restaraunts. They were unable to seat us for 7:30 dinner reservations because they have a bar license that does not permit minors on premises after 8 pm. Both the hostess and manager were very pleasant in communicating the issue and we understood the importance of upholding their responsibilities, unfortunately they/we missed out on the meal. Only posting so others first time visitors may also be aware and plan an earlier dinner, as the food and beer looked great.

Awesome beers, Great food, good prices. Most meals on lunch menu are perfect size to not want to take a nap in pm. I've enjoyed the experience every time in various contexts. Keep it up!

Second time there, same waitress and she was rude as the first time. She looked upset and answered with bad attitude when someone who doesn't speak French ask for the day special in English. Other guys on the service team were very kind and helpful.

Our waiter could not hear anything we wished to order. It happened with all our orders and through out the evening. In part the music was loud. I also think he just didn't really care or pay attention. It wasn't really that busy. The food was good, but the music far too loud. The waiter also had his supper during our meal, which was fine but no one was told to cover our table, so they had to find him and ask him for the bill and the rest of our order.

It was the starting point for a boys night out on a cold evening (-15C). We each had the onion soup which was slightly spicy and went very well with the I'm Batman beer. We also the duck carpracio and the wild boar bacon bits, which was also excellent. The I'm Batman beer is an 11% dark stout that perhaps could have used a little more caramel flavoring to reduce the alcohol taste and add more complexity (in the Belgian Trappiste style). The restaurant was very lively between 7pm-9:30pm with a mostly business crowd. Not bad for a Wednesday evening, just before Christmas. We left shortly thereafter to continue our boys night out at another brew pub (Le Saint Bock). Highly recommended!

You have to go all the way south of the city to find the Soeurs Grises, but they're worth it! First course: smoked duck breast carpaccio, chickpea and beetroot hummus or smoked pepper cream, with mini grilled-cheese sandwiches. Followed by a maple-smoked salmon steak, a waffle au gratin with duck leg confit or white pudding with sweetbreads. Topped off with a chocolate and jam Beeramisu, a pouding chômeur with maple syrup or dates stuffed with goat cheese, cranberries and walnuts. Like being at home, but different.- 21$

Here you can try hash brown-style potatoes cooked in duck fat with shredded pork, BBQ sauce and maple syrup. Not forgetting the Charlevoix cheese, sour cream and green onions, of course. And the sauce? Beer-based with venison reduction.
