I will not go back or send my customers there (I am a certified tourist guide). The food was amazing but We were asked to clear the table for another group 2 minutes after paying and I personally think it is rude. We did not ask for the bill, the waitress asked us how we wanted to pay. We were there to celebrate 2 birthdays and it was the first night off for one of my friends who just had a baby. Rude I tell you. Not on my list anymore!

My FAVE spot in all the land! Food is amazing, Mike at the front door is a gem, our waiter (Tony) is an absolute angel! Can't recommend Bottega highly enough! Such an accommodating staff, beautiful interior, food is out of this world!

I had been to Bottega a couple of years ago. It was great! I was looking forward to a wonderful evening. I was disappointed to find the quality of food has declined. A LOT. Everything was pedestrian. Including products they buy and have not made themselves (olives, burrata). Bottega is a pizzeria. Even the pizza was mediocre. WOW. I made the reservation a few weeks earlier as this was a meeting with an important client from out of town (which I let them know). We arrived before 6 pm. There were only 2 or 3 tables seated at that hour. We were brought to a 4-top at the window (on a very cold night). I asked if we could have another table, away from the window because of the weather. In a room full of 4-tops (I mean what's the difference, really?! it's a table for 4 people) the only table hey could offer us was a terrible, small and uncomfortable table. Maybe okay for two....maybe. It is a shame when good restaurants get comfortable if they become popular, part of "the scene" and then let everything slide. It is the "hospitality industry". The mandate being hospitality. I know; I was in it for 20 years and owned several foodservice operations. I will not return. We live in one of the great food cities and there are many choices. If you are interested in an evening of great food, Bottega is not the place.

Anthony was delightful as usual, and quite entertaining. His entree suggestion was a complete hit- the pulled veal was DELICIOUS!!! The pace at which the dishes were served was great, giving us the time to SAV our each service and enjoy the evening.
