La nourriture était très bonne mais déçu de la quantité un bole de potage rempli à moitié et ils ont réduit le dessert à 2profiteroles au lieu de 3. En ce qui concerne le service s’était ok mais le serveur ne nous a jamais demandé si ont voulait du poivre en grain et du sel et il ne nous a jamais verser du vin dans notre coupe c’ est tanant quand tu dois toujours demandé et au prix que tu payes tu ne devrais pas avoir à demander quoi que ce soit et te le faire offrir

Fantastic service and a noticable improvement from past visits. Never have I had a bad meal here, but I've had some good and some better.
For some reason, this meal was so perfect it freaked me out. Best whiskey sour I've had in a long time, steak frites et creme brulee were all perfectly executed!
Our server, I wish I could recall his first name but I'm old.. He was just incredible. 5+ Stars and I can't wait to return on our next visit to Quebec City!!!

Really great tasting food- especially the sauce. The service was very good- easy to reserve and modify reservations. The only bummer was the loudness of the table behind us. We’ll be back.

Great prices for a family of four! We appreciate that the simple dish that the restaurant is known for comes in different sizes, so big and smaller eaters are pleased, and there are also a few alternatives for others who don’t love steak as much.

I have been to L'Entrecote in France and was looking forward to the same wonderful meal that L'Entrecote is famous for. The steak was so tough, it was difficult to cut with a knife! In France, the steak was already sliced into thin slices and served with there sauce and fries. At this restaurant, the steak was served as a whole piece which was tough and not very flavorful. Very disappointed!
The ambiance is very lovely and the wait staff was very friendly too bad the meal was so disappointing.

It gets noisy quick, but that is the only negative. By 8pm it was quieter.
Excellent food, excellent service.
They have a Table d'hote for two with 500ml of wine and an apero that is well priced at 89$ (2019-12). For an extra 4$ you can get a bigger meat portion.
Will definitely visit again.

We were craving Paris-style steak frite. This filled the bill. Perfectly cooked entrecote, crispy fries, nice salad, and profiteroles for dessert. It all needed salt, but there was a salt shaker on the table. Service was good, wine was nice, price was reasonable. This place is a Quebec institution.

It was WOW...the steak was perfect ,tender, the mustard sauce was gorgeous,big plate, the cheese plate was creative, fresh, and so cheap ( price). The waiter told us they had 6 more places ( we were in old Quebec ) , I want to know where they are! I will return every time we will be in Quebec !

The waiter accidentally spilled wine on my slacks and jacket. He was very apologetic and professional about the incident and comped my meal and a half liter of wine. He was an excellent server and the 4 of us were pleased with everything. We loved your restaurant. (I am a tough grader, only giving 5 stars rarely) If we happen to be in Quebec City again would definitely consider returning.

I was a little disappointed in the speciality of the sirloin steak - I asked for medium and to substitute the fries for vegetables - the steak came well done with fries. I asked for vegetables immediately and they were awesome, but the steak was disappointing in light of how it was cooked - of course, it is hard to tell on the first few bites if the steak will eventually be medium, so I just ate it as it was prepared.

Service started out great, then after a large group came in, our table was neglected. I made a reservation specifically noting it was my birthday which was acknowledged on my reservation confirmation, and I didn't receive any birthday desert or any acknowledgement of it during our dinner. But the table behind us got a birthday desert. Overall, the experience was kind of a disappointment.

We enjoyed our dinner at L'Entrecote Saint-Jean. We have visited out L'Entrecote and, even though we ordered the special of the house - Steak and Pomme Frites - we were pleasantly surprised that the menu included other options. Nice addition!!

This dinner was one of the best dinners I have ever had. The service was amazing and the food was even better. Each course was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was attentive and saw to our every need.
