This was supposed to be my 75th anniversary dinner. Are you sure you want a review???. All restaurants in Quebec City are closed becaause of Covid-19

Missing the beautiful sent in the air that use to be there.The staff was very attentive and pleasant. Missed not seeing Luigi.The food was good but not the best I have had there. Looking forward to my next visit as I have been a loyal client for more than 25 years. see you soon, cheers

Tourist Trap!! The decor is straight out of a 1980s tacky Italian restaurant, complete with the noisy accordeon player’s deafening music. We had to yell across the table all evening. Food? Mediocre at best. We had pasta dishes and the veal. Mushy pasta, pre made sauces and the veal severely overcooked. Premium prices and fast food quality. I was very disappointed in our experience. I don’t recommend this restaurant. With all the choices in Québec City, this was such an underwhelming spot.

Also enjoy every time we visit Quebec City.

Wonderful food and service. We came for Winter Carnival and I think eating at Restaurant au Parmasen was the highlight of the trip!

Your reservation service did not work. When we arrived for our dinner, there was no such reservation listed. Luckily the very nice staff was able to get us a table.

Fish came cold. And They didn’t have some of items listed on the menu..like coquilles st-Jacques. Otherwise good time

We were spending Thanksgiving weekend in Québec.We ate all day and didnt want to cancel our réservations.We ordered a charcuterie plate ,bottle wine and shared a pasta dish.We asked for a second plate to out waitress 3 times.We never got it.Its terrible To have To spend over $100.00 and cant get a dish.Very dissappointed and upset,will not be back.

Service was indifferent and the food was a bit bland and just okay.

I was told by friends it was the best Italian restaurant and that we HAD to go. It was fantastic. Fun, lively, loud and the food was perfect!

The music and food outstanding!

Over crowded the tables way too close to each other, food not really authentic Italian , really cheesy decor, service was bad , over all a terrible experience , I will never recommend this place nor will I ever return .

We had been here 15 years prior, and the good memories were reinforced. The service was attentive, the food was excellent and the festive atmosphere added to the great evening. Well done!

Calamari was overpriced and rubbery. Smoked salmon pasta was not good at all, very poor flavour. Overcrowded and our table was SO small that we could hardly move.

Very disappointing service, waiter was unhelpful and rude. The first time in my life I have walked out of a restaurant. Can’t comment on the actual food as we didn’t order any. The whole atmosphere was tacky tourist. There are many great restaurants in Quebec City, this restaurant should be passed over.

We all just loved it here.. The food was amazing , the atmosphere was perfect It was a memorable night out!

Our 3rd visit to Parmesan in a few years' time; the food and atmosphere were good as always, but service was terribly slow. We arrived just before the restaurant filled for the evening, and I overheard the waiter advise another table they were short-staffed that evening. We had our meal and requested dessert menus; then a large party arrived and we never saw our waiter again. We waited 20 minutes for our waiter, finally I walked to find him and request the bill so we could leave (we instead enjoyed dessert later, at a nearby creperie). A couple at another table had to ask Luigi as he was passing by to send a waiter after they had been seated some time with no service. It is understandable that a larger than usual table, or a shortage of staff, could impact service, but one would hope the restaurant -- which is always busy -- could expect and handle such challenges better than was so on Saturday night. We will likely return to Parmesan some time in the future, but not right away.

I LOVE this restaurant. My husband and I spent a week in Quebec City and had gotten reservations at several of the swanky newer more posh restaurants. But the BEST dining experience we had was at Parmesan. The atmosphere was so much fun! The restaurant was packed and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as us.
