Big Ridge Brewing Co

5580 152 St, Surrey, BC V3S 5J9

Big Ridge Brewing was one of the first small brewpubs in Surrey and the Lower Mainland. Each week they work to create the freshest beer from local ingredients, a process they have carried over to everything that's made in the kitchen as well. Their burger patties are served on a toasted brioche bun, topped off with maple bacon, sharp cheddar and house sauce. It's all served with a side of fries or greens.

Vera's Burger Shack

115-7218 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3W 5A5

Starting out as a beachfront concession in the 1970s, Vera’s has become one of the most popular burger joints in the Lower Mainland. They get their ingredients from local sources whenever possible, including their buns, meat, potatoes and most of their veggies. Their patties are homemade daily, ensuring a completely fresh and delicious experience. Choose from one of their standards or create your own from their wide selection of toppings.

Sammy J's Grill & Bar

15770 Croydon Dr, Surrey, BC V3S 2L6

It might look like one of the larger upscale chains, but this B.C.-based business has only a handful of locations. Their burgers are made from the freshest locally sourced ingredients, resulting in some truly amazing creations. You'll find menu favourites like The Canadian with aged cheddar and smoked bacon, along with the Bacon Double which doubles up on the patty, bacon and cheese for bigger appetites.

Mcjac's Roadhouse Grill

1781 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V4A 4Z9

Mcjac’s makes some of the best burgers in the Lower Mainland. Their buns are made in the neighbouring bake shop and their patties come in three varieties, made from lean beef, turkey or vegetarian lentil. You can enjoy one of their creations or come up with your own using a variety of toppings like sautéed mushrooms, guacamole or cranberry sauce. All of their burgers are served with a small Caesar or house salad.

Texx Big Burger

On a cold, snowy Edmonton night, nothing says lovin’ like a cup of hot chocolate. It’s no surprise this drink was originally dubbed the “elixir of the gods.” Regardless of the variety you select, or whether you opt for the simplest hot chocolate on the menu, all I can say is ... don’t forget the marshmallows.
You don’t have to travel to Paris to have a true fine-dining experience; you can enjoy an upscale dinner, complete with a five-course meal and fine wine, right here at home. Victoria is a fine-dining destination with an excellent reputation – where talented chefs enjoy crafting delicious gourmet dishes from fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
