They’re easy to get to at Yonge and St. Clair, and have the kind of hours that normally you could only dream of (8 a. m. to midnight). They also have an answering service from midnight to 8 a. m. Plus, they can help you out in English, French, Japanese and Filipino, so you never have to worry about misunderstandings.

They completely understand what it means to have a busy lifestyle and have to deal with emergencies that crop up, so they’re open six days a week and as late as 7 p. m. If something bad happens in your mouth, like abscessed teeth or gums, a loose filling or a toothache, all you have to do is call or email and they’ll help you out as fast as possible. There are six different Norton Dental offices in the GTA and beyond, stretching from Ancaster and Hamilton in the far west to Vaughan in the north. In between are offices in Mississauga, North York and the downtown core. The Mississauga location stays open the latest, with hours stretching until 9 p. m. from Monday to Thursday. All of the offices are open at least six days a week and have procedures in place to handle emergencies.

North York Dental Clinic

For those living in the north end of the city, this dental clinic is one you can call or email when you’ve got a tooth problem outside office hours. They’re right at Finch Station and specialize in emergency treatments, such as root canals and emergency extractions. If your issue isn’t an emergency, their hours run until 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and an impressive nine hours on Saturday, until 5 p. m.

The earliest they close is around 3 p. m. on Fridays and Saturdays, with hours going as late as 7:30 p. m. on Mondays. You can usually fit in a post-work appointment on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when they close at 7 p. m., but on the off chance a dental issue crops up after hours, emergency care is available. And, to take your mind off your teeth, there are TVs set up so you can focus on your favourite sitcom instead.
