Their four sandwich selections rotate and generally run for a couple days at a time, but are always creative (and entertainingly named) and are sure to cause serious cravings. With locations downtown and on the west end, Sandwich & Sons is a deli-style joint that serves six signature sandwich selections with homemade chips. Everything from mustard to pickles is made in-house, and they offer catering, too. Their Montreal smoked meat sandwich is dubbed “the real deal” and their grilled cheese (old cheddar, smoked gouda, monetary jack and artichoke spread on sourdough) will make you salivate.

An old school style diner in High Street, just off 124 Street, Urban Diner provides the ultimate classic sandwich selection: diner meatloaf, Ruben, grilled cheese, beef dip, pulled pork, clubhouse and the Monte Cristo. While all of their sandwiches are mouthwatering, the Monte Cristo is the most phenomenal sandwich ever (egg dipped and served with jam and sour cream).
