The vegetable lasagna was delicious, the sea food salad was superb, however the tiramisu was awful. I can't remember the name of the sea food pasta that we ordered but it wasn't good either. The atmosphere was a bit crowded, we sat very close to another couple and could hear their conversation even though they weren't loud.

I went to Alfredo's for the first time today because of the rave reviews I have read and it did NOT disappoint! I tried the pizza and the spaghetti and meatballs. The taste is authentic Italian and SO fresh! The sauce they use is delicious! Alfredo himself is so friendly and and kind. He makes you feel right at home! I just wish that there was more of a seating area since I live kind of far to come and get it for take-out (which is the main business they do). I would highly recommend Alfredo's Place to anyone who loves authentic Italian food!

On Recycling Day, I noticed that 3 of my neighbours had Amico's Pizza boxes out at the curb routinely. It has been my experience that people don't order from the same place if the food is garbage. So I picked up a flyer and called... I was NOT disappointed!!
In the summer time they also sometimes deliver the pizza in an old Fiat 500 - VERY Cool!
It's hard to find a great pizza place nowadays and Amico's delivered! (Get it? Ha ha)

This is my regular takeaway pizza joint - really tasty pizza, generous toppings and interesting flavours. In a world filled with bad chain pizza places, it is refreshing to have a small ON owned chain restaurant (I believe they have a couple of other locations in woodbridge) that serves good pizza - no more pan fried greasy poor quality pizza for me. I am half Italian and only eat the best pizza from my mother or wife so for me to praise this is indeed a sign of quality.

Mike the owner of Bella Notte has done a fabulous job on making such a quiant atmosphere. He has pictures on the walls of him and the generations before him and this is Italian history at its finest. I really enjoy supporting the local businesses in my neighbourhood and this one is very easy to become a regular at.
The food is amazing and is a great substitute for downtown Toronto dining. Bella Notte provides fresh food with unique flavors, it has a great wine selection, and always friendly service. You will need to expect however that on the weekends especially, it will be veryyyyy busy and the service may be slower than usual (standard for any restaurant really), so my advice to you is to purchase a great bottle of wine and enjoy the night with your loved ones. This establishment really gives you the time to enjoy your meal, wine and conversation which is not something done at your run of the mill franchises.
For a great dining experience and a taste of Italy, I highly recommend it!

Arrived late, cook had left but as we just left without food, the owner and his wife invited us back in and his chef wife made wonderful chicken Alfredo and done in seemingly minutes. The service was worth the trip alone and the delicious portions filled this 270 pound (123kg) hearty eater. The waiter, Ray, extremely nice and the owner introduced wife after we finished. I have been going to Christina's for years, and i can honestly say that every time i go, it's a great experience. the waitresses are always lovely, and i really enjoy the homey atmosphere. Although I admit that the service can be a little slow at times, i also realize that i am not the one cooking the food, or serving it. i, as a customer, understand that there are things that happen behind the scenes that the waitresses nor the cooks can control, and that everybody makes mistakes sometimes. as far as the food, i like that it's all home made. there have been a couple times when the food was a bit over cooked for my liking, but it wasnt anything that would discourage me from going back. i think some people forget how hard it is to run a business. lighten up! one bad meal isnt the end of the world!

I've been twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic.
The Gnocchi I ate the first time there was the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. I actually moaned, involuntarily, taking a bite of it. Bruschetta was the appetizer I had. The ratio of tomatoes to bread to garlic and herbs was perfect.
Lastly came the tiramisu. Absolutely delectable. melted in my mouth.
Sure it's a bit dingy inside, but they're making upgrades as they can, and the food more than makes up for it.
