The very angry comment that has been posted is surely an anomaly. We shop at this Loblaws frequently and find it has a great selection of goods, friendly service, and, yes, easy parking. Its one of my favourite grocery stores.

The owners of this store are excellent people to own and operate this store. I know these people personally and they are very honest owners and I know that they will and do treat their employees with respect and honestly. If I was looking for work I would not hesitate to contact them or to refer any other person I know to them to look out upcoming work.

I had the pleasure of having an associate named Heather assist me. I had to return 2 products that were spoiled..I did not have my receipt. I called the 1-800 No Frills help line, and they told me it was at the discretion of the store if I could get it replaced, without additional cost....Heather was exceptional. She was friendly and courteous..she listened. It was not an ordeal...If it hadn't have been for Heather, I probably would have stopped shopping there. She is an asset, and I thank her

Great staff and service at Mike and Lori’s No Frills in Brighton. I would like to commend Sean for his outstanding service. I was looking for puff pastry today and there was none. Sean checked and it was on the back but he couldn’t get it until later. I told him I would get it tomorrow. I continued to shop and he found me and brought me the product! What service! This is my favourite store in Kingston! I love so many things about your store, fresh produce, bread, fish and meat products and prepared food. I have a suggestion. In the eating area there is no place to get a glass of water. Since I see you competing with Whole Foods, this is something they have and I do miss whenever I decide to have lunch while Im shopping. My favourite grocery store. They have a wide variety of foods at very competitive prices, but what I appreciate most is the service. There are always lots of people on the floor if you need assistance finding anything, and they always have time for you. Cashing out is always relatively quick as the cash-out counters are well-manned. Clearly the management of this store knows what it’s doing!

I love this store. The management has improved its appearance and overall quality over the past few years, but the family-owened store has always been a favourite among locals for its convenience, prices, garden centre and deli. The only grocery store on the eastern side of the river, it holds key importance for military families' busy lives. It is a local treasure with a family atmosphere that is welcoming in a way that is becoming rare among grocery establishments.

We visited on a Wednesday night in early September and should have had reservations. This place is apparently always packed and it's not hard to see why. The food was excellent and the service very good (every one of the wait staff was fully occupied but each one either cleaned away a plate or asked how we were doing as they passed by). Portion sizes were adequate without being overwhelming. The desserts - wow - I *almost* licked my plate! However, my suggestion would be to expand the premises - there were so many people jammed into the small acoustically 'live' space that it was almost impossible to carry on a conversation. Aside from that one detraction I would definitely eat there again but would most definitely make a reservation for one of the outside tables.
