Where other buffets people eat at and do not complain because a lower food quality is expected for buffet this restaurant surpassed all my expectations. After discovering that Drupati's/Roti Roti was closed, I decided to visit Alima's while reading online reviews. Warning: This is a take-out only place. There are no tables/chairs to eat-in. When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Had to wait a coupla minutes for someone to come to the counter. This seemed normal as no one was bothered by it. Being that it was my first visit, I had some questions that the worker patiently answered, suggesting different options. She was very helpful. Expecting to sitdown, I ended up eating by my car, on the grass. That didn't bother me much. Food was nicely packaged, neat not spilling all over the place. Parantha roti wasn't hot, more chewy than flaky/soft. Curry itself was very flavourful and not too salty - as I find most places tend to be. If in the area and want to do a pick-up, I think Alima's is a good option. (Place seemed quite busy with a revolving door of people coming in to pick up their orders that they phoned in!) Although I do prefer the taste of Drupati's/Bara's Hut. Read more

I love this denny's, Around may last year there was a Baconallia celebration where that had a whole menu filled with foods packed wih bacon! they even had a bacon sundae tha was quite briliant, but that was only a month long thing ): This denny's on queen is the only one i've been too that will still makes me the bacon sundae every time I visit! oh yeah and the grand slamwich is awesome aswell! We had our community Diwali event this past weekend on Nov 4th at Bombay Palace Banquet Hall Brampton. The hall size and shape is perfect for any event. Beautifully decorated and very well organized. The food was delicious, the housekeeping staff as well as the manager was very humble and easily approachable. They took note of all our requirements and made sure they do a good job. My wife and I have been going here since they opened about 11 years ago. The flavours are fantastic and our only complaint is that they need to tone down the spiciness (heat) of the food. We keep trying other Indian restaurants in Brampton but always come back to Minar as our favourite. Great food at a great price with an adequate atmosphere. Great Masala Chai & Nan Bread too. as to the washrooms.... they could use a bit of maintenance but are always CLEAN and certainly in better shape than most Indian restaurants we have tried.
