Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking! I had been coming to the Mission Station Grill for the past five years now and have enjoyed every single meal. From their appetizers and salads to their pasta dinner and main entrees, they succeed my taste buds. Even with their expansive menu choices, they always serve something different from their daily Lunch, Dinner and Brunch menus, which I mainly order from. The staff is courteous and enthusiastic in their work. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. Read more
