We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary with our family at Michaels On The Thames on Oct/5/19, we had a most enjoyable dining experience, the private dining room was a nice touch for our celebration.Joelle made us feel very welcomed and provided a service that was very much appreciated.Todd our server was super with making sure all of the guest were looked after. The Dawghouse is an awesome place to be. The wait staff are long-timers and know everyone. It’s a regular Cheers! So many regulars’ daily... including me. Prices are great the best dish is their Fireside Chicken dinner... their BLT. has 1/2 lb of bacon it in and their wings are always cooked to perfection. Atmosphere is so good. I find myself at this place multiple times during the week. I go for breakfast one day, lunch the next, and then for dinner another day, and I'm usually there for the nights events. They have great concerts, great food, the staff, at least the bartenders and bouncers are all fantastic and some of my good friends, and the service is more often than not fast and helpful. Just the other day after going to this place for a year and a half, had my first bad experience with service, but after mentioning it to the manager, everything got sorted out and I still had an excellent meal even though it was a bit slower than usual.
And their drinks are fantastic. I've only had one bad drink there and that was after they just started a new barrel so the beer was a bit watery - I just asked for a new one and they gave it to me no problem.
I can't say enough good things about this place. I never turn down an invite to this place.

I brought in a tour group of 33 people and the manager Jodi and her staff were waiting for us when we arrived. They provided great service and the food was very good. The group all voted they would go back again! Thank you so much! Our travel date was on 9/24/11 and arrived around 6:15pm for dinner. It was also nice being a family restaurant you could order wine, beer etc. One of the ladies in our group was having a birthday and the staff provided a slice of choc. cake and sang Happy B-day!

We had the best dining experience at lunch today. We spent the last two days in the hospital so we were in need of a good lunch. Stacey was phenomenal!!! It was pretty busy but she looked after us like were only patrons. She was very efficient and friendly. You can tell she enjoys her job as I watched smiling and laughing with everyone she was waiting on. She suggested the new cauliflower wings and they were to die for. We will definitely be coming back next week.

I recall eating at a Montana’s Grill a few months ago and enjoying an Aunt Emma’s meatloaf. This past Saturday my wife and I had a yearning to try it again, so we went to a relatively new Montana’s in Hyde Park and discovered that it was now listed on the menu as a “Cookhouse Meatloaf” and promoted as being one of the restaurant’s “favourites”. I can see why. Quite frankly, this was by far the best meatloaf I have ever tasted in my life, and at 73 that’s saying quite a lot. Sure you can eat meatloaf at a number of places but I bet you can’t beat having a more delicious one at Montana’s in Hyde Park.

We stopped in on our way home from Stratford and we are very happy we did, The waitress who greeted us was so friendly. We ordered our dinners and they arrived very quickly. I had a grilled cheese sandwich with fries and it was delicious, real cheddar cheese and the fries were yummy. My husband had the egg salad sandwich and soup and he said it was very good. The restaurant is very clean and the waitress was really very nice. We plan to return to have a full dinner soon as the menu looked nice with lots of choices. I will tell anyone I know that if they are in St. Mary's they should try this wonderful restaurant.

A pleasant stop if you are in Ilderton, and especially if you are a fan of a pub atmosphere and cask conditioned ale. I've been here several times, and I usually stick with the nachos because they are a great value and are also quite tasty. But I have had the Steak and Guinness Pie which is also quite the treat. Service has always been great when I have been. I always get a few pints of cask ale when I go, and am never disappointed. It is always fresh and well kept. Rich is a true cellarmaster and knows his beer. As a result, this is a destination for lovers of true cask ale, and the only place in the south west of Ontario to try this unique style of ale.
The atmosphere is comfy, nice booths, a bar to sit at, a seperate room with televisions for those inclined to watch a game, and there is also a large screen in the main room for the larger events.
Overall, highly a recommended stop if you are in Ilderton or area. No where else near here can you get cask ale, great service, and really tasty food. I'll be back!

I don’t eat out a lot cause I feel like I can do just as good a job at home cooking, but this night we felt lazy so off to dinner we went. We picked a great place. Food was great, in fact my son enjoyed his burger more than the ones at home. Service was very friendly and helpful as my wife wanted something light and couldn’t make up her mind, the server took her time with us and helped make decisions. She recommended the fajitas to my Daughter, and wow what a hit.
After reading a couple of the negative reviews, I don’t know what these people are talking about, cause our meal was perfect. And clearly one of the reviewers doesn't know what he's talking about, cause in Ontario, you can serve alcohol at 18, and drink at 19, so I guess that sums up his review and how factual it can be.
