My husband and I dined at La Casa on Saturday night. We started with Mussels for appetizer - delicious...I wanted to drink the sauce it was so good. We also shared a Ceasar Salad. The dressing was very nice, perhaps a bit too much garlic (a little too overwhelming). Still tasty though. I ordered lobster pasta, all I can say is DELICIOUS! So tasty. I brought some home and was looking forward to eating it again the next day for lunch. My husband ordered beef tenderloin. Again, delicious! Tender, perfectly cooked and tasty. The waiter was very professional and friendly. We had a great time and a fantastic meal. No wonder La Casa is still one of the best restaurant's in London. It's so nice to go out for dinner and receive a great meal. The meals are not pretentious or overpriced (unlike other London restaurants in the downtown area). The food is simply delicious. This is one of my favourite restaurants. I first was taken here by my father after he had been so impressed eating here at a business lunch. We haven't had a bad meal here ever. My favourite meal is always the eggplant parmesan. It has to be prepared ahead of time, so make to to mention when you make your reservation, if you want it. Food quality is always amazing. The owner is attentive, enthusiastic, and passionate about the food and service. The owner may be Greek, but coming from an Italian girl who grow up on my Italian Nana's fresh made food, he knows his Italian food. Read more

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. I go here all the time with my family. Wa all enjoy the great atmosphere and good service. The food is delicious! My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. I absolutely love their desserts, their assortment of cakes is mouth-watering, especially the chocolate caramel almond cheesecake. Definitely a Cambridge-must. Read more

When it comes to fine dining, Lord Nelsons definitely does not disappoint. With delicious food and quality service, I would have to say this is one of the classiest restaurants in the Hamilton area. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the warming and peaceful atmosphere. There are only a handful of tables and a bar in the whole restaurant and it makes for a almost private and intimate dinner experience. This is not a jeans and t-shirt type of place, everyone inside is dressed professional and fancy. I would recommend a dress and heels for the women and dress pants and button down shirt for the men. And obviously from my previous statements this is not really what I would call a family restaurant. With the close tables and quiet music I would think children would feel out of place at an establishment like this. Nonetheless I feel like it is a great date night place, very romantic and relaxing. The menu I would say is perfect for the restaurant. It includes a variety of different meal choices but doesn't overwhelm the customer. We had chosen the Peppercorn steak and the Filet mignon for our main courses. I would say that they were better then what I expected, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I would definitely recommend there food to anyone. The main courses range anywhere from $20 - $60 which is a little higher then your average dinner but in the end I think it is worth the little extra price for the quality. The only concern I had about going here was their location. It was a little difficult to find as it is located in a small plaza tucked away beside a laundromat. Also the exterior of the restaurant is not what you would expect for a high class place like this, and I didn't find it all that appealing. The front doors are very Castle like and there are no windows at all. At first glance I thought it was closed. But if you can get past that It was great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
