The owners of this store are excellent people to own and operate this store. I know these people personally and they are very honest owners and I know that they will and do treat their employees with respect and honestly. Some of the BEST MERQUEZ I have tasted in long time. The mild ones have great full flavor, all the right spices and the hot ones have the same characteristics plus the expected kick in the background. I had the pleasure of having an associate named Heather assist me. I had to return 2 products that were spoiled..I did not have my receipt. I called the 1-800 No Frills help line, and they told me it was at the discretion of the store if I could get it replaced, without additional cost....Heather was exceptional. Not sure why I see bad reviews, I have been going there for 20 years, and always gotten great service. (What I do see is cranky customers who give the staff a hard time when they put in the corona rules)
This is a family run business, they even have a picture of the late father on the wall. This is heartwarming to see, as I still remember him rearranging the little cucumbers all day long.
Their food selection is very, very good, and the spices are 1/10 the price of the large competing stores!
