I can't say enough good things about Fishbone Bistro. Warm ambiance, comfortable seating, and the service made us feel like we were the only table in the room (although the restaurant was fairly full). We had a flaming sausage to start - delicious. The specials were incredible. I ordered a dish that I can't remember the name of, but it was similar to a light seafood stew in an herb broth. Delicious, perfectly cooked food and the flavour was out of this world. Highly recommended! My husband had the whole sea bass. The owner, Pedro, deboned the fish at the table and explained some things about Portuguese cuisine. My son had the steak, and the presentation was like nothing I had seen before! I've been telling everyone I know to check this place out. We didn't have time to try dessert (an excuse to go back)! Hearty portions, excellent wine, beautiful decor.... you have to try it! Jenna, our server, made the experience so enjoyable! We had a retirement dinner last night. We were provided with a wonderful description of the menu. A lot of laughs. Jenna has a level 3 Sommelier course, if you are interested in Wine. She’s Greek, so loves lamb! But watch out, she’s pretty witty having a Bachelor degree Psychology. We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit. The service is great and fast. The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread. The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it. All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner.
