We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. I came here for lunch a few times and tried a different sauce each time. I personally prefer the Buffalo style wings, if that's what your looking for then this is not the place. It is what it is and for what it is it is good. The wings were consistantly a good size, crispy, fresh tasting and juicy. No complaints there. Of the three sauces I tried I think the medium was best. They have tons of sauces though so there's lots there to explore. It's hard to rate service and atmosphere in a take out joint so I give a five for service since I had no waiting time to be served and server was friendly and cheerful. Read more

I go here all the time with my family. Wa all enjoy the great atmosphere and good service. The food is delicious! My son loves the selection of pastas, and my husband could have an affair with their ribs! Service is fast and efficient, I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to receive each course. I absolutely love their desserts, their assortment of cakes is mouth-watering, especially the chocolate caramel almond cheesecake. Definitely a Cambridge-must. Read more
