Edulis is amazing. The only thing disappointing for me is when dinner is over. The food is phenomenal, the service is warm and friendly, and the space is comfortable and unpretentious. They go above and beyond with thoughtful touches to the experience, like remembering it was my husband and my anniversary. It’s such a special place for my husband and I and is, by far, our favourite restaurant in the city. Read more

I visited last night for the first time for a friends birthday party I have to say the atmosphere was very nice the food was good the only downfall being a disabled person is with the washrooms be in downstairs. We decided to give this place a shot as it's just steps from our place. The food was good over all, not the typically pub fare. We read some reviews that highlighted how amazing the jerk sauce is. One critic even went as far to say "the food is basically a vehicle to deliver the jerk sauce". I would say the food stands on it's own just fine, the sauce just elevates it to a higher standard. The price was decent, the four of us ordered the special which sounded amazing. Lamb burger with sautéed onions and cheese, house salad and sweet potato fries. The fries were amazing, the cinnamon made them that much better. The burger was good but the bun could have been better. The salad was standard. A place we will be sure to visit in the near future. (Service was okay, he seemed somewhat antisocial for someone in customer service. No chit chat, but he got the job done quickly and politely non the less). Read more

I live near Queen and Spadina and have had some difficulty with finding decent low-medium priced sushi. Toshi is across from where I take spin class and I noticed that the sign indicated that the chef was Japanese so I decided to try it out. I found the fish to be fresh, the restaurant to be clean and the service to be attentive. They service appropriately sized rolls and nigiri, as opposed to the giant pieces that many other establishments serve (this is a good think IMO). Overall, very good meal and I think I will be frequenting Toshi a great deal. Read more

So based on reviews I decided to try Big Smoke Burger, (formerly Craft Burger) at their King East location. The burger was awesome. One of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries were skinny and crispy. I prefer fat and potatoey. Also the kethup on hand was really vinagery. The burger was worth it though. Read more

Restaurants in King And Bathurst Toronto ON

Dining out to a new restaurant is always a gamble. Am I going to have a good time? Is the food any good? How does this restaurant rate? Before you base your choice on the menu plastered outside of the restaurant window or from someone you just met off the street, here are some simple tips to guide your stomach to the best restaurants.

Tips on how to find restaurants in King And Bathurst Toronto ON

  • Restaurant reviews: Online and newspaper restaurant reviews in the food or lifestyle section are your best asset when trying to find top restaurants in your area. Most reviews rate the restaurant by atmosphere, portion size, price and service. These independent restaurant reviewers have no one to please but their finicky tastes.
  • The concierge always knows: If you are travelling in King And Bathurst Toronto ON, your hotel’s concierge or hotel staff will be able to find restaurants that suit your taste buds and budget. Are you looking for something ethnic, local or for a fine dining experience? The concierge will be able to lead you in the right direction and even place a reservation for you or place a takeout order if dealing with delivery restaurants.
  • Call ahead: If you have specific dietary needs, food allergies or need to host a large party, call the restaurant of your choice ahead of time and be specific. You don’t want to ruin your evening dining out because the restaurant didn’t have a highchair for little Tommy.
  • Ask the neighbourhood: Most local food and wine vendors deal directly with the restaurants in your neighbourhood. Ask them about the restaurants they deal with and the kinds of meals they serve.
  • Sense of adventure: Your nose is your best tool when out to find
restaurants in your neighbourhood. If you smell something delicious coming from a restaurant, follow your nose and discover a new place to add to your list – make your own review and keep a list for future reference.
