Right on Dundas and Elizabeth, this little gem is sort of hidden downstairs. My Chinese friends refer to it as 'the basement' rather than its name. The bigger the group, the cheaper the meal. Dim Sum is good and very inexpensive ($2.20 - $3.70 per item). If you are going for lunch during the week, get there EARLY as it fills up very quickly. Once you have had lunch there, you will understand why. The Dim Sum is served from carts, so there are times when some of it may not be as hot as it should be, but I have never found that to be a problem since the food is very good. The decor is very basic with plastic table clothes, but the restaurant is quite clean, so that is not a problem. I go there regularly and recommend it. Read more

One of my family's perennial haunts. We stumbled upon it while looking for a meal the night before a vacation, and now it is one of our favourite restaurants. Our usual order consists of 2 tofu satays with roti, one tofu mee goreng, and one hakka chow mein, but we also love Thai curry. Theirs (red and green) are both excellent. The only troubling bit is the music in the background. When it isn't reimagined version of pop songs (a bit repetitive), it's CHFI, the local adult contemporary radio station (complete with advertisements; a joy at Christmas). I decided to give this place a chance. I had an amazing experience. The waitress/bartender Victoria if I’m not mistaken gave great recommendations. Victoria was professional, friendly, understanding and always had a smile on her face willing to assist. She came often to check up to make sure the food and everything was going well, and I really appreciated that. The cove fried rice was definitely a hit.
