For years, Thai Palace has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to for lunch and dinner. The prices at lunch are at a great price, which include a soup or salad. There are dinner specials as well during the week. The food tastes phenomenal, the vegetables are fresh, and the service is always consistent. The atmosphere always feels warm and welcoming. Butternut squash soup was tasty, grilled shrimp had a nice kick (from the chili oil), hand-made gnocchi was surprisingly light (a great appetizer that was a special of that night), grilled beets with spiced pecans and goat cheese was unusual yet delightful, lamb shanks (also a special that night) was tender but the sauce was quite overwhelming, and of course, the maple cheesecake was delicious (yet not too sweet). Overall, we felt the food, service, price, portions and ambiance was perfect. Duane (our server and the manager) is entertaining and knowledgeable with wine pairings. Ryan is a terrific chef and it's obvious that he puts much care when preparing the food. We look forward to dining at Mamo Bistro again soon. Read more
