I went to Centerpoint last weekend with my family for Mothers day. I was a little skeptical (after reading all of these reviews) but we had a wonderful meal. This restaurant is charming and reminds me of the "old pickleBarrels" with many of the new upgrades that the bigger and fancier Pickle Barrel's have. ( i beleive they call those pickle Barrel's "grande"). Our whole table ( 6 of us) ordered off of the all day menu. My wife had an omelette, which looked delicious and very big. I had the classic breakfast and others got the pancakes, waffles, and french toast. We almost sampled everything on the breakfast menu. Our server, Lisa, was attentive and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. I was super impressed! Overall we had a wonderful mother's day lunch!! I've probably been here 3 or 4 times now. I keep coming back because the service is so good! Not to mention the food is fantastic (the complimentary crunchy soup is to die for). The last time I went, my table got the spider roll, seaweed salad, green dragon roll, spicy salmon roll, and some other roll (I can't remember the name). They were delicious! All was served in a sequential manner; we were served complimentary soup immediately as we sat down, then we ordered, after which we were served complimentary green salad while we waited for our rolls. We were never without food! With all that's included with the rolls, the value is really great. Although it's not too impressive from the outside, the inside is pretty good. It's not fancy, but very laid back. I took my grandmother here for her first sushi experience, and she loved it. I had such good service today, that I had to give these guys some publicity!
