Expensive gourmet food tastes good in a slightly above-average atmosphere. The wait staff are also slightly above-average but I wouldn't call them excellent as we had one with a bit of an attitude the last time we had lunch there. Not a bad view. The food is not consistant - we've been there for 3 lunches and each time someone at the table has been disappointed, including myself, although the last time we went there it was good. The welcoming committee as you enter are friendly, although each visit I've seen wait staff hanging around this area, joking with the greeter and that's not good. I don't suggest anyone sit near the patio doors (especially if you're a senior like us) as it can be cold and the wasps are inquisative. Read more

There were 18 of us for a family birthday party, and included 3 very young children. The staff was very friendly and offered information and suggestions to help us with our food choices. Everyone's meal was excellent and the kids were entertained with their colouring placemats. This is the third time this large group has celebrated a birthday here and we keep going back. If we can't get a reservation on the day of the birthday, we postpone until we can. We have also been several times as small family groups of 3 or 4, or as couples. The critical Reviews from 2008 accurately reflected conditions at this restaurant during that period. We quit going there then because of the problems we experienced.
