I absolutely love this place! Although the atmosphere of this restaurant is rather dark, gloomy, and sketchy, they have one of the best steaks and lobster in town. Usually we order bbq ribs and potato fries for appetizers. These appetizers are usually mediocre. As for the entree we always order the rib eye steak as well as 2lb-4lb lobster. The rib eye steak at House of chan is one of the best steaks I have ever had. The steak at House of Chan melts in your mouth as you eat it. This type of steak should only be eaten if you enjoy the natural taste of steak, and are expecting no additional added flavours. The lobster is usually just as good as the steak. They offer you a rich butter as a dip. I really enjoy this dish as well. Read more

My friend had never been to this restaurant and I wanted her to experience it. The food is fabulous. I've never had the fish and chips but if it's as good as the Thai food, it should be excellent. The food is so fresh and tasty. My friend was amazed at how good something as simple as spring rolls and fried wontons could be... and the sauces. I enjoy the less "conventional". The salad rolls are wrapped in large rice noodles and served with peanut sauce. The "Lemon Grass" soup has fresh mushrooms and tomatoes with a selection of chicken, shrimp or fish for $3.99. This place has a great atmosphere. The music wasn't too loud, so casual dining was nice. Our server (we believe his name was Matt, he had an accent) was very knowledgable and wasn't overly trying to upsell constantly. The food was fantastic and tasted great.
