Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it! What a night!!! The lamb was perfect, and the seafood pasta in a pernod cream sauce to die for. Such wondeful hosts! OMG!They even wrote Happy Birthday Michelle in chocolate around my tiramisu. Unlike other reviewers' experience, the service we received was exemplary - friendly, attentive and fast.
Food showed imagination, especially the crab croquettes with a spicy sauce surround them. Ingredient quality was beyond reproach and everything was cooked to the degree as ordered them, no overcooking here at all.
Definitely going back there again this year.

When the pizza arrived at my table, I was immediately captivated by its presentation. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, with a slight char that hinted at the traditional wood-fired baking method. The tomato sauce was vibrant and flavorful, spread generously over the dough and adorned with creamy mozzarella cheese and fresh basil leaves.
