The Prospect Point Cafe is located just beside one of the most spectacular views in Vancouver. Get a seat where you can enjoy the view while you eat or trek down to the lookout point to get your fill of the view before or after you get your fill of the great food on offer. This is definitely a tourist restaurant but i think the locals should come here more often becuase they offer a great selection of mains, burgers, sandwiches, pasta and beer-battered fish and chips. Well, what can I say. I fell in love with my now husband on a first date here! The atmosphere was warm, the servers were attentive, and the food and wine was amazing! We enjoyed many of the tapas plates. Great value and very tasty! If you know the area, it is very close to shops on Robson Street, yet still tucked away in its own little private location. My wife is a sushi expert. She has tried almost every sushi restaurant in the downtown vicinity on multiple occassions and quite often the staff will know who she is. That being said, I definitely trust her opinion on Sushi and right now this place is her favorite. It is a small sit-down/takeout restaurant on Robson street and it is fairly new, and the sushi is fantastic. The salmon is always fresh and since they don't serve famred salmon it is always amazing. The miso soup is complimentary with a minimum $5 order and the staff are always pleasant. The only downside is they don't have any cooked food, it is purely sushi with some noodle soup options.
