Second time around, drove out of our way for a late dinner on the way to Muskoka.
First time I had the meatloaf and my partner a burger. The meatloaf was moist and very flavourful with a heap of mashed potatoe piled on with crisp fried onions and gravy. Veggies were fresh carrots and cauliflower and peas, fresh not frozen!
The burger was 2 patties on a hoagie with a hot sauce and fresh cut fries , enough for 2 people.
The second time in my partner had the meatloaf, consistently as good as last time. I had one of the specials, a cajun blackened catfish, it was pretty good but not done the traditional scortching hot cast iron frypan way, just broiled. it was still good and moist and blackened far more than bronzed as requested.
Service was efficient considering they were short of staff and the place was packed.
Best try and make reservations if you can, or take your chances, it is always busy,a testament to the effort they put into their product.
Food done the way that only pride and care can produce, great value and worth the extra effort to get there and the wait for seating.
Restaurants that get it right deserve the patronage, this one certainly does.

Food is really good. Staff are friendly and service is fantastic. I was greeted at the door immediately and had a cold beer within 2 minutes. I ordered hot wings on my first visit and suicide wings on my second visit. The hot wings are not very hot so if you like hot, order the suicide.

Never been any where else with 22 drafts on tap, and they always have something new to try!
best patio in town, amazing burgers with so many toppings! delicious and huge fish and chips. Half price wings on tuesday are cheaper than going to the grocery store! bbq pork is really good and juicy and they have so many different french fry options.
I visit often and will continue dinning and drinking here for forever :)

I held my husband’s 50th birthday party at Jesters on the upper floor and everything was handled perfectly. The food was delicious, the service was top notch, and the management was so helpful and accommodating for all of my dietary requests, they set up the decorations and everything went perfectly, it was a a fun, fantastic party. Highly recommended! This past week, we ordered take-out for the Creamy Chicken Penne, the Club Sandwich and the french onion soup. The Creamy Chicken Penne is going to be ordered again tonight; it is really excellent! The french onion soup was also very tasty and filling, as was the club house with the grilled veggies & awesome fries! We didnt have to wait very long to pick it up. I would even come here from Newmarket!

I am a long term customer of this establishment, and i am appalled at the last review. First of all i am routinely in there for the wings and the two girls that work on wing day-night are very friendly, quick and very good at their job which includes cooking the food. they work alone and it is typically very busy on a wing day-night.
whomever wrote that review obviously did not read any of the other reviews posted about their " friday girls " as they are well known to repeated customers to be mean, slow and rude.
its very surprising that anyone could have an issue with either of the "wings girls" in regards to their job performance and it sounds a little more like a personal issue. i have personally seen this very same person mentioned wash the tables, benches, walls and even the baseboards so i am more than happy to declare a good rating for both of the wing girls.
