Little Bangkok took over the Spiago restaurant in the Glenwoods mall in the corner across from Scotia Bank in Keswick. What a great spot! ... the atmosphere is nice and the staff are very attentive. The food was delicious and served hot. We all ordered dishes and then shared. The waitress was very helpful in choosing what to order and what food complimented other dishes. I can't say enough good things about Fishbone Bistro. Warm ambiance, comfortable seating, and the service made us feel like we were the only table in the room (although the restaurant was fairly full). We had a flaming sausage to start - delicious. The specials were incredible. I ordered a dish that I can't remember the name of, but it was similar to a light seafood stew in an herb broth. Delicious, perfectly cooked food and the flavour was out of this world. Highly recommended! My husband had the whole sea bass. The owner, Pedro, deboned the fish at the table and explained some things about Portuguese cuisine. My son had the steak, and the presentation was like nothing I had seen before! I've been telling everyone I know to check this place out. We didn't have time to try dessert (an excuse to go back)! Hearty portions, excellent wine, beautiful decor.... you have to try it! I am a long term customer of this establishment, and i am appalled at the last review. First of all i am routinely in there for the wings and the two girls that work on wing day-night are very friendly, quick and very good at their job which includes cooking the food. they work alone and it is typically very busy on a wing day-night. whomever wrote that review obviously did not read any of the other reviews posted about their " friday girls " as they are well known to repeated customers to be mean, slow and rude. its very surprising that anyone could have an issue with either of the "wings girls" in regards to their job performance and it sounds a little more like a personal issue. i have personally seen this very same person mentioned wash the tables, benches, walls and even the baseboards so i am more than happy to declare a good rating for both of the wing girls. Two recent dinners at the Newmarket Keg were both great experiences. The food was amazing, steaks and prime rib very tender and tasty. Great friendly service, even in the Mother's Day rush.
