I have been going to chubby’s for about 32 years now and can’t say enough about the restaurant! My husband and daughter love the burgers and fish and I love their fish and Greek salad ? haven’t had their burgers but I have no doubt they are amazing! We have been here two times for dinner. The atmosphere is good, but a bit tight space to sit.
The service is great and fast.
The portions were big and the deal it, that you get a complementary delicious set of eggplant dips with bread.
The food we had was very tasty and good. I don't recall the menus we had, but I recall that we liked it.
All in all a pretty good food with the nice idea of the free appetizers. Always good to just hop in for a good spontaneous dinner.

I've never been inside, but they sometimes have a girl outside with a table of foil take-out dishes around dinner time, all for 3 dollars. It's one of the best values in Chinatown, just take it home and make your own rice. fast, convenient and I've never had anything I didn't like. They do, however, have bitter melon in about half the dishes. If there were more bitter melon-free dishes, I would certainly eat there more often.

We decided to go to McNies on a Saturday for lunch. We were greated by a very pleasant woman who would be our server. Our food arrived quickly and was great, the fish was nicely battered (not too heavily battered but not skimpy either). The service was also great, my boyfriend decided to get extra fries with his meal and our server told the kitchen to start them while we were eating so that when he was ready to eat them they would still be warm.
