Everyone in our party of six loved their dinners at Positano, plus the price was right, the service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. Being able to bring our own wine was a nice bonus and lessens the impact on the wallet. The other nice thing was that they weren't rushing us out the door the minute we were finished, but allowed us to linger and chat. No wonder the place is packed. My wife and I stopped for dinner about a month ago. I had ordered the sausage and stewed tomatoes to try something different and was very surprised at how tasty it was. I remeber the beer selection was on the poor side. I do not remember them having any draft beer available. The service was very good and the flourless cake I had for desert was just incredible. I'm not sure what these other people are talking about because I think this place is amazing. They have three locations now, and as a loyal customer, I have visited all of them. Each atmosphere is a little different, the most recent addition at Yonge/Eglinton (Piazzetta #3) is the nicest. More importantly, the food is consistently amazing, not to mention inexpensive. My guests and I have never been disappointed. The pastas are always fresh and the pizzas are always perfectly thin and remind me so much of my trip to Italy. My favourites are the Calamari, Penne Primavera and Arugala Salad. But I also love the funghi pizza (which ALWAYS has lots of mushrooms). My partner loves the grilled salmon and veal chop entrees.
