It must be Brampton's best kept restaurant secret. I didn't know La Capannina was open for lunch on weekdays and over the years I was repeatedly told they weren't. Upon discovering this we returned to enjoy an unhurried lunch built around their appetizers. I won't bore you with the details other than to say everything was perfectly executed. Chef Massimo is a perfectionist and sources only the freshest ingredients. A bonus, our waiter was relaxed and throughly professional. If you need a quiet place for a superior mid-day meal, I haven't found a better location in the area. Read more

The Danforth Pizza house is good, but this is better. If you have ever had pizza in the Windsor-Detroit area, this pizza is made from that same recipe. You'll know as soon as you taste it. If you decide to dine in, the interior is clean, casual, and a classy. Staff is friendly and work hard to ensure you are happy with your meal. Went here for lunch but will not be back. I must say the food here is very good. Unfortunately the Service Manager or Waiter is very pushy and will invite himself into your conversations. He invited himself to sample our food (which we declined), he kept trying to hit on us, and stood over us until we ordered. In addition, there were 4 gentlemen just standing around the bar looking around the whole time. It was annoying. I am Italian and have been to many great Italian restaurants, but this is not one of them. It has great potential, great decor and great food but lacks in customer service. I really do hope they change it around. Read more

I've been twice now, and both times were absolutely fantastic. The Gnocchi I ate the first time there was the best I've ever had, and it's not even close. I actually moaned, involuntarily, taking a bite of it. Bruschetta was the appetizer I had. The ratio of tomatoes to bread to garlic and herbs was perfect. Lastly came the tiramisu.
