Montreal Christmas concerts to celebrate the season

The Laval Symphony Orchestra

The Laval Symphony Orchestra presents A world of traditions on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Salle André Mathieu

Conducted by Alain Trudel, Les Petits Chanteurs de Laval will be joining the Laval Symphony Orchestra to sing traditional melodies from around the world, taking the audience on a virtual world tour by way of music! From Canada to Europe, taking in hymns from Ukraine, England, France, Russia, South America and Africa; everyone’s covered!

Symphonic Christmas

December 16, 2017 at the Place des Arts

Immerse yourself in the Christmas classics as performed by the most beautiful voices of Quebec, accompanied by a 45-piece orchestra. Let yourself be carried away to the sounds of Ave Maria or O Holy Night and cherish the fond memories brought flooding back by the voice of Sylvain Cossette singing with Guylaine Tanguay.

Marc Hervieux sings Christmas

December 20, 2017 at the Notre Dame Basilica

Is there anything more moving than Christmas hymns? Or more specifically, Christmas hymns sung in a place as impressive as the Notre Dame Basilica? Let yourself be lulled by the voice of Marc Hervieux while taking in the breathtaking architecture of the place.

Christmas in the Park

Various activities, Parc Émilie Gamelin, Parc des Compagnons de St-Laurent and Parc Lahaie, from December 1 to 25, 2017

Christmas in the Park is in full swing again this year, with a program full of activities for everyone. Bonfires, marshmallows, mulled wine and dozens of concerts are on the program, so you'll find something for you whether you're into traditional, pop, rock, or even electro. Come celebrate with Xavier Caféïne, Kroy, Mara Tremblay and Louis-Jean Cormier.

Christmas, a tradition in song

Several dates, Place Bell, Laval

In 2017, there's nothing stopping you from starting a tradition! Why not take advantage of this colorful show taking place at the brand new Place Bell, right next to Montmorency station? With Brigitte Boisjoli, Paul Daraîche, Laurence Jalbert and many others, it's going to be a lively one!

Ho Ho Heavy

L'Astral on December 23, 2017

Who said metal fans don't like Christmas? Heavy Montreal is putting on a high decibel show featuring All That Remains, The Agonist and Throw The Fight. One thing's for sure; we seriously doubt that Ginette Reno will be there to lend her vocal talents!

So, whatever your preference where entertainment's concerned, have a happy holiday season and go make some unforgettable memories!
