The best places for boutique shopping in Calgary

17th Avenue

The 17th Avenue Retail and Entertainment District is one of the most popular lifestyle destinations in all of Calgary. Among the numerous restaurants, lounges and cafes, you'll find some incredible high-end boutiques.
One of the first places you'll want to check out is 27 Boutique. Here you'll find a selection of clothing and accessories featuring everything from worldwide brands to items designed and made in Canada.

While on 17th Avenue, don't miss out on a visit to Danielle's Consignment Boutique for carefully chosen designer label clothing and accessories.

Kensington

Like 17th Avenue, Kensington is a fully equipped entertainment district offering everything you could need for a day or night on the town. It is home to more than 250 businesses, many of them small, locally-owned boutiques.
After grabbing a hot beverage from one of Kensington's many coffee shops, head over to the Peacock Boutique consignment store to browse some of the latest casual wear trends. You also don't want to leave this pedestrian-friendly neighbourhood without checking out the unique jewelry and wearable art found at places such as Kismet Clothing and Silla Designs.

Inglewood

The community of Inglewood is a premier Calgary local shopping district where you can find unique items you'd be unlikely to come across at a mall. Start your Inglewood adventure with espy experience, a designer boutique with a focus on affordability and on Canadian-designed goods.

Heading further east down the street, you'll come upon Adorn Boutique. Fashion lovers in Calgary regularly flock to Adorn Boutique for its selection of beautiful clothing and accessories. For a completely different shopping experience, continue down 9th Avenue to 28 Blankets, a boutique carrying handmade textiles such as mittens, Scottish plaid and, of course, blankets.

Maria Loop

Marda Loop is another street-level, walkable and highly pedestrian-friendly district for entertainment and local shopping in Calgary. Located in the beautiful southwest communities of Altadore and South Calgary, Marda Loop is a great destination for consignment lovers.
For awesome deals and a community feel, check out The Clothing Bar. If you're looking more for designer fashions at like-new quality, Changes Clothing & Jewellery Bar is another of Calgary's great high-end consignment stores.
Finally, while in Marda Loop, don't forget to visit the Wanderlust Trading Company for unique jewelry and accessories, clothing, home decor and one-of-a-kind gifts to bring back home.

Visiting local boutiques is a wonderful way to take in the character of a city. Doing some local shopping in Calgary will allow you to check out many of the city's hotspots while picking out some cute new outfits.
