Only open for lunch service from Wednesday through Sunday and located on the ground floor of the Thousand Buddha Hall, Taste of Zen is one of the most coveted vegetarian restaurants in Vancouver. Payment is by donation only (the staff are temple volunteers) and some of the vegetables are grown in the garden on the temple grounds. To further set it apart from other vegetarian options, there are many choices not on the menu that you can ask about.
