called HSBC customer service for the exact address of a branch that moved. Not only is the address still on their system, the rep offered me a location in Prince George and Kamloops after I asked for Victoria, twice! Forgot to ask where he was located!

Customer Service...a lot to be desired...

Let me just say that services offered by HSBC Canada are shocking; from endless mistakes in the branch, and phone calls that are routed overseas to people who have no authority to make any decisions. And when you face a teller in the branch who is chewing a gum, it is time to bank elsewhere. Let me just say that HSBC staff is rude, unprofessional, lack basic customer service skills and, above all, they luck basic knowledge about the very products and services they are supposed to provide.
