As the owner of Core Focus, Mark Salgado turns working out and getting healthy into a lifestyle his customers can enjoy for the long run. Mark saw the effects of long-term injuries while working at a physiotherapy office and set out to make a difference. By combining knowledgeable and encouraging staff with a fun atmosphere, Mark makes a real difference for those looking to improve their health and overcome injuries.

Mark believes that overcoming an injury or reaching a fitness goal is a matter of having the right help. "Make it a lifestyle, make it a routine", he says, and you can change your habits and your life for the better. Mark believes in his clients and his clients trust him to ease them into their workouts and motivate them to do their best.

The upbeat and inclusive social atmosphere that Mark and his staff offer has turned the chore of working out into a comforting and healthy routine for his clients. At Core Focus, the atmosphere keeps customers passionate and engaged.

    I've been participating in group training with Mark at Core Focus for over a year and have lost 45 pounds so far and gained multiple positive health and fitness results. Group training is fun, positive, and the group members are supportive of each other. Mark is a great trainer - he challenges, makes group classes interesting and interactive - he is personable and gives one-on-one attention and assessments to each participant. I am a different person and I couldn't have gotten here without Mark!

    Going to Bootcamp is the highlight of my day. For a begginer such as myself, it's the best place to start if you're determined to be fit. I came not knowing what to expect and left so energized and motivated that I've been going ever since. I love how the workouts are designed to include cardio, flexibility, endurance, balance, core strenghtening etc...You will be introduced to muscles you never knew existed and you will definitely sweat. I love how the classes are never the same and we all have fun regardless of age or physical ability. The atmosphere has a familial feel to it, not at all intimidating. Mark's positive attitude encourages you to work harder to achieve your goal. Core Focus bootcamp will challenge you to discover your body's innate capabilities.You may be pleasantly surprised.

    I'm currently a police applicant and Mark has wen instrumental in helping me reach a competitive time for both my RCMP PARE and POPAT tests. I don't think I could have ran it so confidently without his guidance and support. He's great because he never underestimates your strengths and abilities. It doesn't matter what gender or level of fitness/injury you are, we all sweat through the same exercises and progressions in his workouts. Give him a try, u won't regret it

    I he been training with Mark just over a year now and I feel the best I have been even while I was a competitive athlete a few years. What I love about his classes is that every workout is customized and catered to all levels. He takes the time to know you and help you work trough your injuries to reach your goals. His workouts are never the same and the gym equipment is fully utilized so you will never feel bored in his classes. I am especially fond of the TRX, bosu ball, and giant tire slams/slashing. The environment is fun and positive. Everyone starts out differently but I started seeing results within a few weeks of his classes. Even after a year, i still feel challenged in class because mark will make an effort to push you harder. Although reaching my goal weight within a few months was awesome, I feel even better now because I have worked on building strength in my core and muscles which dramatically reduced my chances for jnjuries. As a result. I feel stronger, and more confident and energized.
