    When they came to...

    When they came to pack on a Saturday, they did an excellent packing job and then returned on Monday to move it all. The move went really smoothly. They showed up on time, it took the amount of time they estimated, nothing got broken, the movers were really good about moving furniture to where my mom wanted it, one of the movers took a lot of care to get my mom's bed set up, etc. Thanks Guys

    My experience wit...

    My experience with Canadian Van Lines was excellent. Their movers showed up on time. They had all the equipment and supplies they needed. It was clear they knew what they were doing. Frankly, this was a bit of a surprise because - in my experience - something almost always goes wrong with these sorts of operations. That was certainly not the case here. Everything ran like clockwork. We had an agreement that we would pack up all out small household items ourselves. The movers would pack the furniture and the appliances. When the movers showed up, two of the guys walked through our house and took a close look at everything. They had a short chat with each other and it was clear that they had agreed on how they would tackle the job of packing up the van. From what I could see, the packing process went flawlessly. They worked until a bit after noon. Then the crew left for their lunch break but they were back in less than an hour. They finished the packing that afternoon about 15 minutes before their expected completion time. When we met the movers in Winnipeg, we saw the same sort of commitment to punctuality. Again, they showed up on time, took a quick walk through our new apartment to see where things should go, and then started unpacking. As they took each item off the truck, they moved it directly into the room where it belonged. Based on my experience, I would recommend Canadian Van Lines without reservation.
