We had a Jatoba staircase built with stainless steel railing and upstairs hallway floored by Scotia Stairs. The results made a big difference to this area of our home. The Scotia Stairs installer was courteous and professional. We are very pleased with the work Scotia Stair has done for us.
We had a stair railing and stair treads installed and the quality of the service was good and the price competitive. The quality of the finish on the newel posts and hand rail could have been better, but overall we are satisfied.
I would use this company and installer again.
I was looking for a premium post design without the premium price. Scotia stairs had a great selection. They manufactured 4 high quality posts and delivered them to me in an unfinished state as requested. I provided them to my contractor to create a beautiful unique stair renovation. I recommend this supplier.
I received a response within 24 hrs asking for more info and a quote 5 days later. The standard treads in solid oak were comparable in price to veneered treads I could buy locally and I was unable to find a winder set of false tread anywhere else in Canada. Delivery was timely and I was able to stain them to match an existing floor. I am very pleased with the quality of the treads and feel they will last a lifetime.

I bought 6 foot long oak treads with extra thick front noses. All communication was prompt- email and phone. The delivered price was less than that of local competitors. Delivery was as quoted. Quality was excellent.
I ordered custom-stained box newels and railings for three different staircase areas of my Westcoast home. From the quoting process to delivery I received great service from both Sean in sales and Larry the owner. The materials were top notch and beautifully satined and finished. I would both recommend and use Scotia Stairs again for future projects.
