Owner Nunasi Corporation established Polar Vision in Yellowknife in 1986 and opened Baffin Optical in Iqaluit in 1989. The first joint business venture between the Inuit and Dene, Polar Vision Centres Ltd. was held in partial ownership by Rae Edzo Dene Development Band for our first 20 years.
