Wow.....I remember the days when Fitzy's was a cool, hip place to hang out....get a martini.....eat some oysters....listen to little live jazz......now it looks like a hangout for downtown Barrie losers with horrible bands.....food.....service......management/owners must have changed !! Very sad......
I'm very confused, we went in to the upstairs part to order their wing special, drinks as well as seafood pasta. we ordered drinks and were told only downstairs do they serve wings. so we paid for our drinks and were shown the side walk to go down stairs. fine, i wasnt impressed, we got downstairs and it was like a basement with a bar in it. everyone watching the television, not like a restaurant at all. the waitress was brand new, not even shadowing someone, she didn't know the list of beer, pop, or wing flavours. she had to run back to a bartender for every question and the bar tender glared at us. it was such a crappy experience my hubby wanted to leave after ten minutes. the entire night was so uncomfortable. this place is only good for young people who order simple snacks and watch TV in a basement. sorry but i have not idea how anyone can run such a business
The waitress was extremely rude and didn't do her job properly. Tables on the patio were disgusting. To make a long story short, I'd never go back and would never recommend this "restaurant" to anyone.
Food was very good Quatiites were excellent Beer was cold but the Keiths was almost flat We live in Burlington but we will be back
Fitzy's is one of the best place to get out and enjoy a good meal and listen to live music. The staff are great and the room has a cool vibe to it. I have been going there for years and the food is consistantly excellent. The pasta and seafood is good and the jambalya is my favourite. My wife is vegetarian and she enjoys the mussels.The atmosphere is lively so it's not a great place for a quiet dinner but if you are up for some live music and a meal it's hard to beat Fitzy's.
i like the food, i just dont understand that everytime i come here, and order draft beer it is alwayssss warm! u guys need to refridgerate those beer kegs! -
