This is one of the best place to dine in Burlington. Polite servers. Great tasting food overall. Love the biscuits! The place gets too crowded when they have seasonal promotions and expect long wait times to be seated and serving time. Atmosphere is comfortable and place is clean.
Best service we've experienced in a LONG time! Our server Pauola was AMAZING! Timing was perfect, was always around when we needed something. Very accommodating! Food was good too.
Been a couple of times... Went in June and had a la carte and enjoyed. Went in September and had endless shrimp and was really pleased. My mother was here on vacation and she wanted to treat me to Red Lobster cos she liked the sound of it... Service was fantastic as was the endless shrimp. YUM YUM
visited red lobster oct.18 have been avid fans of this restaurant,however tonight was absymal. Our apps. were first class however main meal was overcooked and cold as were the biscuits. We returned the main meal and 20 minutes later it had not resurficed at this point we paid for the wine and apps and left. Hope this will never happen in the future. As of now we are willing to give it one more chance.
We both ordered the Ultimate Feast plates and there were no disappointments. The lobstertails were fantastic. Our server was very polite and helpful and looked after us very well. The Manager even stopped byour table to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. We look forward to our next visit.
This is where I ask to go to every Birthday! Usually make it two-three times a year. Never disappointed! I love this restaurant, I adore the staff, and I'm crazy over the food. The Shrimp Alfredo is my absolute favourite and the Coconut Shrimp with the Pina Colada dip is wonderful. Oh, I can't forget the unlimited tea biscuits!! Mouth watering! It is a long wait to get in but it's so worth it. I have consistently had outstanding service. This restaurant really knows how to treat their customers! Even the manager drops by your table and says hello. Wish they would bring more Red Lobsters back.
My son took me here for fathers day and I was hoping that they wouldn't disappoint. My past bad experiences here aside, I now have two great meals in a row, so they must have made changes. The server told me there was a change in management. Let's just hope they maintain the quality of food and it's preparation.
Perhaps my expectations aren't as high as others, but I was pleasantly surprised with my visit on April 24, 2009. I ordered the Garlic Shrimp Pasta, which came with a generous Caesar salad (soup was an option). Served with this were four biscuits and they certainly didn't skimp on the butter! Anyway, I was impressed with how many small shrimp I got and how generous the portion was. I certainly didn't go away hungry. It whetted my appetite to go back and try one of their more expensive dishes. The service was great, but not overbearing!
Red Lobster is what it is. A chain restaurant that serves decent but rather salty seafood. No complaints really, as you get what you pay for. Food is always good, but lots of people complain that it is poor quality. Go to a fine dining restaurant then if you want superior quality seafood. Would definetely go back. Service very good aswell.
I have always found the quality of food to be very good at Red Lobster; however, I have been to this restaurant twice recently, and on both occasions I left disappointed. The staff deliver excellent customer service; but the food was not at the level I expect from Red Lobster. The food was over-cooked, over-seasoned and visually unappealing.
I had visited Red Lobster on many occasions in the past because of their excellent food and service, but I’m talking 20+ years ago. Don’t really know why I stopped going. This Saturday I wanted to treat my wife to a nice lobster dinner and given that she had never had the experience of visiting this establishment since she’s from Europe, I thought that she would enjoy the evening. We were seated right away and greeted by our waiter Brad a few minutes later to take our order. But the good service soon gave way to disappointment. My Peach-Bourbon BBQ Scallops appetizer was luke warm and mushy. Our Wood-Grilled lobster, shrimp and scallops entrees was nearly perfect except for the scallops. They too were on the mushy side. The shrimp and lobster were very tasty. Suspecting that our entrée lobster would be on the small side, we each ordered a rock lobster tail. We were very happy to have done so after having eaten our entrée lobster with only two bites (very tiny lobster). Our $20 rock lobster tails were appalling. I had to use my knife in order to manage cutting it. Not only was it hard like rubber, but absolutely tasteless. How can a lobster be without taste I’ll never know? My wife only took one bite of hers and gave it to me. The only reason I hate both of them was not to feel cheated out of $40. Our Warm Apple Crumble a la Mode was not much better. It was all soggy, probably because it was thrown into the microwave. I’m surprise that they didn’t do it to the ice cream as well.
Usually we could count on this restaurant for great seafood and good service. We have had two mediocre experiences over the last couple of months, but decided to give the place another chance. They struck out!! Mediocre food, ok service, but just not enough value for the money spent. Not sure what has changed here, but I definitely would not recommend the place.
I hope that the manager reads this one day. The server "Susan", (brown hair). WAS AMAZING such a nice lady was extremly kind. I was on a diet so it was pretty hard to enjoy grilled shrimp and brocolli but when im 40 and have no limits "LOBSTER ----KING LOBSTER AND MORE LOBSTER !!!!!
I am sure all the food came from M & M Meats. Pre frozen, precooked, prebattered and reheated. On the plus side, the baked potato was okay along with the dipping sauces and soup. The biscuits were dry and in need of butter of which we didn't receive. The service was mediorcre. This restaurant receives a thumbs down and we won't be back.
wasnt that good at all. steak was cook to rare but burnt to a crips on the outside and the king legs looked like left over legs pieces. well i kinda expected it when i know that 80% of the boh staff on line is no older than 16 years old and everythin is frozen not fresh....
I decided to give this place another chance..we were greeted by a VERY nice fellow who was training a waitress. they couldnt have been nicer. hubby got the crab legs, lobster tail.I got mashed tatoes & seafood sampler..I was happy to see we didnt need to ask for anything. they brought us the crackers/wet naps/napkins, melted butter & tarter sauce. it was a complete turnaround from my last vist. what a great lunch~
we had the stuffed mushroom, they were wonderful. surprisingly the bisquits were very PLAIN & needed butter, not garlicy like they usually are. i had broiled fish fillets & scallops. the vegetables were undercooked, the fish came with NO sauce, the scallops were sitting in a milky white pool of water. no melted butter, no garlic, no tarter sauce.(i will NOT be ordering this again) hubby seemed to enjoy his fettachini & shrimps. we wont be going back to this location, but will try another one closer to home.
Everything was fantastic at this restaurant, food was great, service was even better. I would definetly go back, i would also like to point out that at this point in time the restaurant was excellent, unfortunate for Kat that it wasn't so great this coming Christmas Eve. I wish i had a delorean.
The food is always very good at Red Lobster, but this location is definitely not the best. The rice was undercooked and the waiter not very attentive. I would not return to this location.
My wife and I haved been going to this restaurant once a month for ten years. Kat owes it to herself/himself to give it another go because we have ALWAYS found the food, service and staff to be nothing less than excellent, consistently. Wonder why it is always busy? No accident. Try going some evening other than Christmas Eve next time!
