When we visit Whitby, we get our take out chinese food from Maple Garden. The best we've found. Rice is very good, same with chicken balls, curry dishes, General Tso chicken, egg rolls... and on and on. Not greasy, as is in a different store a few doors down the road.. And the woman who runs the place is so nice and friendly. And I guess it's her son who takes the orders, also pleasant. Definately recommend Maple Garden without a doubt. Read more

We order from here regularly, we have only ordered the Thai items a couple of times. WE LOVE THE HAKKA dishes. It is very difficult to find any good hakka restaurants in the area especially oshawa/whitby area. Our regular dishes are the: -Bombay chicken -any of the chili or manchurian chicken or beef or shrimp (the shrimp dishes are a little smaller than the chicken or beef )but very tasty. -pad thai/ hakka special chow mein We really like the fact that they have come to know us so when we ask for extra spicy it is extra spicy, never been disappointed. If you are into this type of food then it is definately worth a try. We don't eat in because of our kids but the atmosphere seems very pleasant when we have picked up food. I Read more

Haven't been here for a while and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have redecorated. Replaced a number of tables with booths and that makes it much nicer inside. Food is great. Lots of variety. Excellent prices. The one thing about this place that annoys me is that they never bring your bill to the table -- I always have to go to the cash to find out how much the bill is and pay.
