Excellent Place

Just amazing stay...staff excellent, rooms spotless and food great...plus we were downtown they have free parking. We already booked a trip back...macallisters pub was fun and the Inn great...thanks for a good trip

Excellent place to stay

Just a great place to stay, very clean and friendly staff. My wife and children just loved this place. The MacAllisters pub was so good and fun. We were downtown by the beach, never had to drive and the King George Inn staff treated us very well....thank you to them for giving us a great trip...we have booked already to stay again. Thank you to the Manager and his staff!!

A special night at a quaint unique Inn in Cobourg

The Inn was great, the room was well appointed. We stayed in the Sailor Delight and it was truly a delight. Each Inn room is different so you could stay 20 times and have a different experience. The staff were great and they made us feel like we were part of the family. Walking distance to High Street and the Harbour and the greatest Beach in Ontario.

Terrible service! Just couldn't get anyone to...

Terrible service! Just couldn't get anyone to take my order (which was to be a $17.50 steak). When I finally got some attention, I settled for a burger. When I first approached the bar, the bartender just smiled and stared at me. And stared and stared. I was about to turn and leave after this awful reception when she finally spoke. I wish I had left at that point, considering the terrible service after that. And they weren't even busy. This place would be a wonderful spot to spend a cold winter afternoon, but I won't be there after this kind of non-service.
