Usually eat in but tonight we did take out and was disappointed to see that our beef dip sandwiches had no dip with them. Isn’t it called a beef dip sandwich? Was already home and didn’t realize there was no dip until we sat down to eat.

Great place to eat!

I have ate here about 5 times. I have enjoyed every meal I have had. Chicken Wings are great, and they usually have great lunch specials. Also, as a side note, there Sweet Potato Fries are amazing, especially when paired with their chipotle mayo! The only issue I have with the place is that if you do not dine there during 'off' hours, it cant be pretty hard to get a seat. Although, this speaks to the quality of the place.

Amazing

I have been to the beaver lots of times, love the food and the service. It has always been a great meal and time. I suggest everyone tries it out for lunch dinner or just to have a drink.

my buddies and i go to beaver and bulldog all the time and hairs on the wings are from the actual chicken.

I've worked in the food industry and I understand that mistakes happen, hairs get in food, things are forgotten, everyone is human. The first time I went to B&B it was satisfactory, but after that it went down hill. My biggest problem I would say is the service. The hostess is rude and insisted that my party stand near the door while waiting for a table but then when you get in her way tells you to move out of her way. When getting a table I've waited, on two seperate occasions, 25 minutes before even seeing my waitress. Then 20 more minutes for half the drinks we ordered. The food is declining steadily in quality. On one occasion I asked for my bill and then didn't see my waitress again for 30 minutes. I'd also like to add that I've never even been to B&B on wing night and all my experiences there occured on nights they were almost completely empty or mildly busy. Perhaps I'll return but it won't be until I hear better things from this place.

awful managment

To make a long story short, we ordered some wings and drinks, received them in a good amount of time. They were alright, but the flavours were messed up when they were brought to our table. When we received the bill, we were overcharged, the manager came to "deal with us", and refused to rectify the situation, insisting that we did order all of that food on the bill. After a yelling match (Literally!), she removed the mistaken order and we paid for what was rightfully ours. Before leaving, we told the manger we would never be returning and she should treat customers better, she yelled at us all the way out to our car. We left her standing in the parking lot. WE WOULD NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!

Awesome Food

Went on wing night, had to wait for half an hour, as expected with how busy the store was. Were going to leave but the friendly, attentive greeter kept us around. The wings were mammoth and full of flavour. Incredible. We met the owner while waiting for our food and she was VERY friendly to us, so not sure about the above experience.

I went to the beaver and bulldog in collingwood its the best restaurant and great service. I will return and and again..people friendly nice atomosphere and beautifully decorated patio love it ..

i was with the party below and I just wanted to say that what happened was not acceptable and none of us will be visiting again. I was NOT pleased with the way she handled that nor the way that she spoke to us. We had young children there and it was NOT an appropriate way to teach a child how to deal with a situation either.

Absolutly Terrible

There were 8 girls in my party and we go around collingwood trying new restaurants out and having a lovely girls day. We decided to try The Beaver and Bulldog to see how it was. We received our food fairly quickly and our server was absolutly amazing. There was a hair in the chicken wings and we told our server. The owner came out to tell us it was a feather on the wing and it happens that she had to pluck it out with her fingers. We said no it was a hair(which it absolutly was) and that we did not want it since her fingers were in it. She then said I ONLY TOUCHED ONE! AND DARN THOSE CHICKENS FOR HAVING FEATHERS!... she then walked inside and threw a towel to show how she handles a situation that is not in her favour. We were absolutly in shock that an owner of a restaurant would react in such an imature way. All we wanted was an apology and maybe a new batch of wings or a discount. Not many people enjoy eating hairs from others and food that people have stuck their fingers in. All of the girls in my party work at restaurants. I am a cook and the others are servers and managers. We have never seen someone act in such an immature way who is of management.

SOOO Delicious!!!

we went to the Pubto celebrate a birthday, there was about six of us. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed outdoors and in....we had to wait about 35 minutes, but were served beverages at the bar quickly ...when we got our table the girl behind the bar seemed rather irritated that we wanted our tab transferred to our table so as not to have pay twice. however that was the only poorness we encountered. once seated we were taken quite good care of. All of or needs met, and everything was delicious and amazing. portions were large and everything was full of flavour. Our waitrees was very knowledgable and explained to us that mostly everything on the menu was made in house. Even though it was an extremely busy night, we never felt like we were being rushed or igrnored. The server was very attentive. We will definatley be returning SOON!!!

Wow! just reading the reviews for the...

Wow! just reading the reviews for the Collingwood location makes me think that I should have hopped in my car with my wife and did a road trip to the Collingwood location and avoided the Hamilton location. Save your money and avoid the Hamilton Beaver and Bulldog. It's dirty, service is slow and the food is tasteless. We have not been to the Hamilton location in about a year or so. We enjoyed it very much. This visit was terrible and we will not be back!

Great pub food, some interesting ideas added to the menu. FANTASTIC, HUGE WINGS with lots of sauces, but the jerk ones were waaay to hot for even my husband to eat more than 4. The nachos needed A LOT more cheese, there was only 1/4 sprinkled on there.

This restaurant is one of the best in Collingwood, hands down. It is very reasonably priced and is always serving good food. My fiance and I try alot of different resturants but we always say "why didn't we go to the B & B". The only bad thing about this restaurant is its placement. Right near a sewage treatment plant and somedays it smells pretty bad. Don't let that deter you though, a VERY much try :)

We chanced on this little gem while visiting Collingwood. The night we visited, it turns out to be 1/2 price appetizer night. I ordered the shrimp au gratin which alone was worth the visit. Juicy shrimp nestled on a portobello mushroom cap with a hint of balsamic vinegar/herbs then topped with soft goat cheese, roasted red pepper and then baked to perfection. The dish was even plated elegantly! For barely $6, this appetizer is stellar. The homemade soup was excellent and generously portioned and the burger and hand-cut fries were perfectly cooked and plated more casually. There's something for everyone. The service staff (including the bartender who was not even serving us as we did not order alcohol) were attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable on the food. Could not believe their prices. Good food, clean. We'll be looking forward to visiting if we go up to Collingwood again.

Love coming here. Make a point of it to be in Cwood around lunch time so I can have my salad or wings. Lots of different drafts on tap as well. Freindly staff, clean environment.

The food was beyond excellent. The english styled nachos were superb and unquie. The wings were increbile in taste and size. I will definility be visiting there again. The service was excellent and the environment is very clean and comforting.

The food is great. The best part are the mammoth sized wings. There are many different styles of wing sauce to choose from. They also have a great irish nachoes plate. Service is good. I have been many times and will continue to return on a regular basis.

This is a great pub style eatery. We tried to go back the following evening (Sat.) at about 8:00pm but were told it would be a 30-45 minute wait so we passed. If it had been just adults we might have had a beer at the bar and waited.
