Food was mediocre. Stayed for the live band afterwards which was good. However they don't have a coat check and my coat got stolen and management wasn't very helpful in terms of dealing with them. So if you like mediocre food it's decent, just watch you coat.
I've loved Doogies for years. Let's face it, their wings are not the "best in the world" but they are definitely good. I order a pound of wings every time I go there. The best thing about the place though is the beer, the ambience and the music. Great place to hang out with a bunch of friends and drink beer while listening to some wicked live music. Especially when the test icicles are playing.
Lets get serious, we dropped in with all this raving about the wings. Come on this place is a dump, its a bar with food that is not great. Maybe if you drank enough cheap beer. Thanks for the reviews by the owners or staff, because this place is well below average
The wings were delicious, the pitchers were cold, and cheap (10$ a pitcher during the summer, except for friday and saturday nights). They had some excellent live music and all the staff were incredibly friendly.
wings are soooooo good every time we go! poutine was good - big portion! music is always good!
I went because a friend of mine said Doogies had great wings Never again - the wings were gross and when I ordered them - my server looked at me like I had 2 heads. the beer was cold and good
I have been called doogie for years and when i found out there was a bar in Guelph that was named after me I made a special trip to go see it first hand. we saw the 'test' icicles play live cover music and they were freaking wicked.
Great music. Good food. Enjoyed my drinks. Enjoyed the people.
The cod was spectacular, i loved it. Beautiful people everywhere. Great food, cold beer. Good times

The wings here are awesome! I actually can't really explain the sauce...but it's VERY GOOD! Sort of a cross between honey & garlic and HOT .... Also the nachos are quality, and of course the beer choice is great. Fun, talented live bands play almost every night. Probably the best pub in Guelph!
I heard the wings were great - they are not Nachos stale Pint flat nothing else could go wrong
