Food was a delightful surprise, since visiting a chain I would expect much less, especially with my past experiences with Kelsey's Menu! Service was very good, the restaurant is nice, good atmosphere, though sort of noisy and chilly in the wintertime. Overall, enjoyable visit!
exellent service,danielle and todd couldnt have been nicer,we were a party of 35 and not once did i see any strain on our servers faces, they were fantastic. thankyou for a most wonderful evening. god bless vava
My wife and I try to get out to Kelsey's about once a month, usually on a non-peak evening, so we can get a seat by the window to enjoy the view. The service is consistently excellent. The food is often well-prepared, although sometimes the onion rings or the four-cheese pita pieces were over-fried and this spoiled the taste somewhat. One more thing: Kelsey's, unlike many other "casual restaurants" offers a lot of vegetarian options as well. Not as many as you'd find in a vegetarian restaurant, of course, but if you or someone in your party is a vegetarian, you won't be picking through the oversized salad or plate of potatoes that sadly passes for most vegetarian meals.
I was actually the last person to review this restaurant and I've definitely changed my opinion. I didn't really want to go back, but this is where my boyfriend and I had our first date a couple of years ago, so it's sort of sentimental. The last few times I've been it's been great. Twice we've received "free samples". The waitress brings out a little sample of one of their new dishes, it's great! I usually get the cracked peppercorn burger, which is great, but instead we had wings and nachos. The food was fresh and fast, the waitress was great, came back and checked on us a couple of times. The manager even came out to greet us. I think this restaurant has turned around so much because of the new manager. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone now!
Kelsey's is great, whether you are on the patio in summer or warm and cozy indoors the staff are always attentive and friendly. The management sure knows how to pick and keep the best servers/bartenders around. I highly recommend this place for groups or quiet tete-d-tete for two. Delicious food, and great well rounded menu keeps us looking forward to coming back time and again. Cheers !
I have been to this Kelseys several times and I have never been more disappointed than I was last night. We sat there for at least 15 minutes before our waitress came to take our drink order and by then we knew what we wanted to eat too so we ordered everything. When I ordered my drink the waitress asked for my ID, which is fine, except that she asked so rudely "I need to see some ID now". The food came in an average amount of time, but our waitress didn't even really come back to ask how our meal was (unless you count when she was running by with her hands full of food saying "everything's good here?" not waiting for an answer). My boyfriend suggested that maybe she was just busy, but we saw her talking to another couple (middle aged) for about 10 minutes! I was really insulted and I felt as though she didn't even think we were worthy of her time. Perhaps she thought because we are younger we wouldn't tip her as much, which is totally untrue because I am a very good tipper because I realise most waitresses are students too. I might go back there but I wouldn't want to get stuck with this waitress ever again!
i usually dont mind kelseys however the last time i was there i ordered fish and chips...after seeing my mamoth piece of fish arrived i was a little excited.,.after taking a bite of the "fish however i totally lost my appetite and almost vomited everywhere...on top of this the service wasnt great at all...if u go to kelseys never get the fish and chips...they should rename it fish and fried batter
