Tonight Feb.12/13 th as it's 12:21 am. A waitress by the name of Lindsay served us on this occasion and she was sweet at the beginning of serving us.
When we received our bill, there was a major discrepancy based on all of our visits in the last 2 months to this establishment. Except for this occasion as a result of bad service by waitress Lindsay and an attitude that was rude , unprofessional, ignorant, and downright inappropriate behaviour as a waitress. She deserves to be fired!! Disgust!
Went in here based on it being one of the top rated places on the site. I think these guys owned a little burger joint on King Street in the past, which I really wanted to try, but sadly they are out of business.
Anyway, walked in here mid day recently as I was in the area. Just a few patrons at the bar. I was seated immediately. The restaurant reminds me of someone's basement that they've done up to have guests over. Nice wooden bar and wooden tables, and fixtures, lots of whimsical decor all over.
My server was ok. Sorta ho hum about everything. Not miserable at all,and service was ok, but it was kinda like she didn't really want to be there, and she didn't say much.
I ordered a few small apps as I was feeling peckish. Fries, mozza sticks, wings. Fries were great, mozza sticks were standard ones you make at home, and the wings were good, but I've had wings like this dozens of times in the past, so I am not sure why people seem to think they have great wings. They were average.
I'd go back if I were in the area and was feeling hungry, but I am not rushing to do so.

This was our first trip to Fatty Patty's and we chose it based on overall reviews from Restaurantica.
I was always put off from entering Fatty Patty's in the past due to its lcoation (in a strip mall by Giant Tiger), but since it was only me and my 2-year old son, I thought I'd try it out.
Pleasantly surprised upon entering the restaurant. Eating room was open and airy, yet had a nice distinct 'bar' feel to it: pool table and darts area, heavy wooden furniture and walls.
We were greeted immediately and served very quickly upon seating.
Food came quick enough (there were some tables ahead of us, but we waited no longer than 5 min). The server came by enough to ask if we needed anything and check on the meal without becoming a nuisance.
Bill was quickly delivered after the meal.
Both my son and I enjoyed the nachos. They were good, some of the better ones I've had around town: enough cheese and veggies throughout the plate, but WITHOUT SOGGY CHIPS. That's right! No soggy chips :)
We will come back.
Ordered the burgers. Liked the fact I could choose what toppings I wanted. Wasn't expecting that basics were being counted as "toppings" . The burger was pretty charred. Fries were excellent though.
Our waitress wasn't the most friendly woman and couldn't be found most of the time. It was the other waitress who ended up refilling our drinks
Atmosphere is what is to be expected at local dive. A little dark, but I think that's part of the appeal.

Phatty Patty's has amazing food, Barry the cook is awesome! I would suggest trying his hamburgers which are loaded with toppings, nachos, or wings....but everything is super good! Down to earth watresses and friendly company!
My husband and I love Fatty Patty's. We lived right up the street for years and finally decided to wander in and were we ever glad that we did. Their nacho's are amazing! The ingredients are always fresh, the seasoning they sprinkle on them is awesome (my favorite touch), they are accompanied by a generous amount of sour cream and salsa, and the portions are pretty large (granted we always share a double order). The staff are always friendly and provide some of the best service. All in all it's just a wonderful little neighborhood bar with excellent food and service.
I've been going there for 22 years and the Wings are to die for Never had better wings then at Fatty Patty's it's been the same great taste for as long as i can remember
Very casual, out for a good meal with no pretention, kind of place. Warm and friendly service, with good food. Bar type atmosphere and decor, but without the seediness of some local privately owned establishments. No need to worry about whether to take your kids for lunch or dinner.
For the more adventurous, try the Friday night karaoke starting around 10pm. You'll have a guaranteed good time.
