    ARROGANT AND OVER...

ARROGANT AND OVER-PRICED! I asked GEARS to tune my son's new BMX bike brakes. They told me it would cost $30. Okay. When I show up, they tell me they replaced two bolts and the charge is now $45. I ask how much they charge for labour. The guys at the counter says $60/hr. I asked how long the tech was working on my bike. He says 25 minutes. At a dollar a minute that amounts to $25. The bolts cost 5 cents in Home Depot. I said I felt it was over-priced. He said I should go someplace else. I will.

At first I was encouraged with the helpful sales staff - but I was really unimpressed with the poor attitude of both the management and bike techs as I watched them talk down to several customers. I wasn't impressed.
