Best service ever! Where do they find these people? Some of the best, most hospitable service we've ever experienced! Food was delicious! We both ordered fried mushrooms with our meals, but asked if we could have just the tomato bruschetta (b/c it comes with both tomato & mushroom toppings) and chef sent out a "tester" mushroom bruschetta b/c we obviously liked mushrooms after ordering them as sides with our meal. They also feature Kawartha Choice local food here which is great.

Steak was blue when I ordered Medium Rare, even though I was provided with a steak knife I could hardly cut through the grizzle. We were never asked what kind of dressing we wanted on the salad and had to ask what they had. My wife ordered hot tea and she is British and it wasn't even boiled any good place knows you have to boil the water to make tea. It was your regular take the hot water out of the coffee pot and add a tea bag.
The waitress was more involved in housekeeping duties than serving. Will never go back and won't recomend!
This is the best place in town to have Sunday Brunch! What a great brunch and it is so nice to overlook the water while you are eating, I would recommend this place to any one.

All-you-can-eat prime rib buffet is a great deal on Thursday nights! For locals, it is only $19 and the beef was so good. I would recommend it to anyone in town!
We have visited the Holiday Inn numerous times over the course of the last five years.
During the dinners, we've never been disappointed with the main courses. They have given good portions. They also have REALLY made up for their mistakes. The only complaint is that the menu can sometimes be a little small - not much variety.
The only problem we've had has been with their fruit & cheese platters not being of consistant quantity/quality.
We've also ordered different breakfast items from the menu...although a bit pricey, they've never been disappointing in taste or portion size.
The best part was the service. The waitors/waitresses have ALWAYS been extremely friendly, and the service quick.
Would eat there again one day.
We went for brunch on Thanksgiving. It was far from pleasing. The only plus was the omlette station.
The hot table with TV dinner grade turkey, fake mashed potatoes and no gravy was gross, and not at all hot. Why bother with turkey at all?
Most serving dishes were empty every time I went up, I gave up. I would never take my family back there again.
