Don Head Village Animal Clinic

Very uncaring and untrustworthy vets. Also, their rating on G cannot be trusted. A few months ago there were many 1-star ratings and reviews because of 1-star or worse experiences and those postings have “disappeared”. One of the vets there has posted a 5-star rating to their own business. Many 5-star ratings are obviously illegitimate. Why does G allow this? Beware.

Very disorganized. Was not impressed.

I was not “listened to” on the phone, and was then spoken to in a very condescending way. I will never bring my dog and cat here!

All was fine for many years until one of our pets got very sick. Our experience with Dr. Zelma and Dr. Hughes - unprofessional, insensitive, disrespectful. Our cat got sick and the clinic told us they cannot see us until a week later. We were also told to just "go and find any other vet". Incompetent and careless. Please stay away and keep your pets safer.

Everyone here loves seeing the pets. You can tell that they really care about pets. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats and have been coming here with the pets we had before these. Dr. Hughes helped us through several surgeries, serious illnesses and when we had to say goodbye they were so empathic and helped us to know we were doing the right thing. We would never go anywhere else. With COVID-19 they have been doing curbside - keeping everyone safe - so I cannot go in but my dogs pull to go in!

Best animal clinic. I am so glad that we chose Don Head Animal Clinic. Great service , very kind and friendly staff. I can always trust them. They don’t try to sell on unnecessary tests like other clinics do. The people who make up this clinic are amazing. I could not have asked for a better group of professionals to help treat my dog.

Nightmare. Not enough reviews telling of nightmares because it is painful. Beware. I recommend finding another clinic if you have no choice but to take the huge risk these days of taking your pet to a veterinarian clinic.

Don Head Village Animal Clinic is the best!! Saved my dog's life just in time. I noticed my dog was not himself last night when I got home, I called the clinic 2 minutes before they close and Dr. Hughes was so kind and willing to take him in and stayed late for him. Today when they realized that he had a rawhide stuck in his esophagus and needed immediate treatment, they arranged to do the endoscopy at the clinic in the afternoon. They kept me updated all day and my dog is making a complete recovery at home now. I was told if that rawhide stayed in for one more day I may lose my baby. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Hughes and her staff!! They are super heroes!!
