THE COMPANY WAS V...
THE COMPANY WAS VERY HELPFUL ON TIME AND PRICED OUT
ACCORDING TO THE JOB.AND LENNY WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ON
HOW MUCH MATERIAL IS NEEDED TO FINISH THE JOB I WOULD RECOMMEND USING BATHURST READY MIX ANYTIME.
Please just do not even think about doing business with this company. I was stuck on the job site yesterday and Rocky provided me the concrete $30 a m3 expensive than my usual suppliers. Then he would not finish the job, demanded $80 for another 15 minutes when we were 3-4 wheelbarrow away from finishing.
I do about $100000 - $150000 business a year. First time i called these guys and they have lost my business.
I hope Rocky's Boss reads these reviews.
my wife and i have been working on renos around our home and i was very content with the service and knowledge Bathurst ReadyMix they assisted in not only in my concrete but also connecting me with great concrete finishers. Definitely recommending Bathurst to others. Thank you!
I've contact a few companies to order concrete and get some quotes for a few jobs i have lined up and nobody was as detailed, knowledgeable and professional as Bathurst. I spoke to a Rocky and he knows the business. I've placed 2 orders that have gone smoothly and i have no issues placing future orders with this company.
I needed concrete for 2 slabs and 3 sonotubes (see below). I called Bathurst Mobile Readymix and talked to Rocky who seemed like a decent guy until we got in to a 15 min. conversation about volume needed for the job.
I gave Mr. Rocky the dimensions shown below and he told me that the volume needed was 2.5 cubic meters when in fact it was 1.45 cubic meters, I don't know how he came to that volume.
Rocky became irritated with me and basically accused me of wasting his time, I couldn't convince him that my numbers were correct.
He then told me that he would send me exactly the volume I requested and that I would have to pay another $300 for dispatching another truck because I would be short, that's when Rocky lost my business.
Anyhow I've gone with another company now, if Rocky had explained how he came to 2.5 cubic meters then I would've used his services.
1. Slab - 120" length x 114" width x 5.5" depth = 75240 cubic inches ( 1.23296 cubic meters)
2. Slab - 120" length x 10.5" width x 5.5" depth = 6930 cubic inches ( 0.113562 cubic meters)l
3. Sonotube – 8" Diameter x 42" Height = 2110.08 cubic inches ( 0.034578 cubic meters)
4. Sonotube – 8" Diameter x 42" Height = 2110.08 cubic inches ( 0.034578 cubic meters)
5. Sonotube – 8" Diameter x 42" Height = 2110.08 cubic inches ( 0.034578 cubic meters)
Total is 1.23296 + 0.113562 + 0.034578 + 0.034578 + 0.034578 = 1.45 cubic meters
Clearly Rocky has some math issues, after 15 min. on the phone Rocky also started using the F word at which time I ended the call.
